Direct Cremation

This simple, all-inclusive service is for a cremation without a formal funeral service- the body is simply picked up when the family is ready, cremated at our partnering facility in Ventura, and the remains are returned to your home in Ojai in a temporary urn. 

 Direct Cremation Package includes:  

• Funeral arrangements consultation remotely or at the family’s home 
• Filing of the death certificate and final disposition permits 
• Ordering copies of the death certificate (additional $24/copy)
• Optional assistance (up to 3 hrs) and supplies for family directed after-death care in the home
• Removal, transportation, and cremation
• Cremation container and temporary urn
• Delivery of cremated remains to home in Ojai 
• Optional submission of obituary to the Ojai Valley News (publication fees additional) 
• Optional coordination of memorial tree planting with Ojai Trees (cost of tree additional)
